Novel Rewind is our version of a weekly wrap-up post. We will be linking up to Stacking the Shelves and The Sunday Post.
Hi, everyone! How was your week? I had quite a hectic week, but it was a fun one, too. I had my recital hearing for my senior voice recital on Wednesday– I passed and I’m officially cleared to give my recital in two weeks! This weekend, two of my good friends getting married, and I’m a bridesmaid in the wedding! I’m SO SO happy for them and very excited to celebrate with everyone. And in more exciting news, I have a week off of school for Thanksgiving next week, so I’m headed to London for five days! I leave on Monday. I have a couple posts scheduled to go up while I’m gone, but I’ll be a little slow at posting and replying to comments; please forgive me! I can’t wait to be back in my favorite city! I’m also super excited to meet up with some bookish friends this trip.
Thanks to Simon & Schuster and Netgalley for granting me access to an e-ARC of one of my most-anticipated 2018 releases!
I finally caved and bought the ebook of this one to read on my trip. I’ve had this book on my TBR for ages (all my friends adore this series), and it’s this month’s pick for my friend Joce’s book club, so it seemed like the perfect time to finally pick it up.
I checked these three audiobooks out from my library to listen to during my flights/tube rides next week! Simon Vs. is a reread, OBVIOUSLY (it’s one of my all-time favorite books).
Books Read/Currently Reading
Uh, yeah, I’m currently in a bit of a reading slump, so all I read this week was this 100-page (super hipster) travel guide to London. I was looking for new ideas for things to do in the city, since this will be, like, my eleventh time there.
I started listening to the audio of this one, and I’m really enjoying it so far. I always crave more historical fiction in the fall and winter.
