Shane has been doing college all wrong. Pre-med, stellar grades, and happy parents...sounds ideal -- but Shane's made zero friends, goes home every weekend, and romance...what's that?

Her life has been dorm, dining hall, class, repeat. Time's a ticking, and she needs a change -- there's nothing like moving to a new country to really mix things up. Shane signs up for a semester abroad in London. She's going to right all her college mistakes: make friends, pursue boys, and find adventure!

Easier said than done. She is soon faced with the complicated realities of living outside her bubble, and when self-doubt sneaks in, her new life starts to fall apart.

Shane comes to find that, with the right amount of courage and determination one can conquer anything. Throw in some fate and a touch of magic - the possibilities are endless.

why i’m waiting

I have so enjoyed following Christine’s journey to publication on her YouTube channel. I can honestly say I’ve never been interested in reading a BookTuber’s book before, but the premise of Again, But Better is so up my alley. I mean, it’s YA contemporary set in college during a study abroad semester in London. And it’s being published by one of my favorite imprints, Wednesday Books. Very excited for this one!

What book are you waiting on this week?

  1. YES!!! I was interested in this, because I want to see what Christine has in store for us, but also because CLo said it was great, and I always enjoy their books. Synopsis sounds awesome. Sign me up!

  2. To be honest…. I’m one of these rare people that don’t really watch Christine’s videos. I rarely ever watch booktube, though I have stumbled upon one or two of her videos at some point, I don’t follow her regularly at all. Her book sounds SO good though, right up my alley! I’ll have to add that one to my TBR and get it as soon as I can. It sounds really great 😀
