Hello, friends– and Merry Christmas! Today is the first day of the Top 10 of 2018 event! Top 10 of 2018 is a week-long blog event hosted by KimberlyFaye Reads that gives us the chance to look back on bookish favorites from the past year.

Today, we’re kicking things off by discussing the top ten books we wish we’d made time to read in 2018, AKA all the books that somehow slipped through the TBR cracks this year. These are all priorities for me going into the New Year!

  1. I’ve read A Tyranny of Petticoats! It’s super fun. Girls of Paper and Fire is still on my TBR, too, and I don’t think I’m gonna get to it til 2019, unfortunately. But I own a copy, so hopefully that’ll be strong motivation.

Good luck with all of these! 🙂

  2. The Power was pretty good! It took me a while to get used to the writing style, but I was in love with it by the end. I’m hoping to pick up one of Naomi Alderman’s earlier books, The Liars’ Gospel, soon.

At the beginning of every year, I say to myself “this is the year in which I will finally start reading V.E. Schwab.” But I haven’t yet!! I prefer knocking standalones off my TBR to starting series, so I just never get around to it. But I especially want to read Vicious and A Darker Shade of Magic.
