Christy's novel rewind (4)

This week we’re going to talk about those books we loved but feel like we don’t get to talk about enough.  I have quite a few but I’ve managed to narrow it down to 10.

What are some books that you love that you don’t talk about much?  How about the ones you push on everyone?

  1. As far as those I don’t talk about enough, they could probably fill a book themselves. Sometimes a story doesn’t get mentioned unless the memory is sparked. Now among those I’ve pushed, DASH & LILY’S BOOK OF DARES is definitely at the top. Say, have you read it? 😉

  2. I haven’t read any books from your first category, even though My Last First Kiss has been on my tbr for so long. I’ve read The Selection and Shatter Me and really enjoyed it, and I would recommend both for people who loves romance (instead of Dystopia because it doesn’t feel dystopian enough for me) I was dissapointed by the ending of Ignite Me though! As for the book I push people to read, The Infernal Devices and Starcrossed (by Josephine Angelini) are both my top 2. They’re just amazing in general 😀

  3. Wow, Christy, I really need to get reading!! SO many of these are on my TBR, waiting patiently to be read by me. I LOVED Amour Amour, Rites of Passage and Me Since You as well!! Also have crazy love for all of your “always pushing” list, except for Illuminae which I still haven’t read (though it’s on my shelf and WILL be read soon!) Fantastic list, lovely! ♥

  4. Tammy

A few of mine are J. Nathan, Natasha Boyd, and Sarina Bowen. I love these authors and try to get my daughters and friends to read. Another one that is not romance is Jim Butcher.

  5. Me Since You… oh, what a heartbreaker. I remember being gutted by that one. As much as I *totally adore* Krista and Becca Ritchie, I’ve yet to read Amour Amour. I’m determined to complete the Addicted series before I allow myself to move on. (Yes, I have waaay too many rules for myself. LOL) And I’ve yet to read anything by Kristen Ashley. *hangs my head in shame* Love how you included the books you always push and I’m so with you on several of them. Nowhere But Here (YES!), Addicted To You (I’m in the midst of a re-read right now), Ugly Love (*sobs*). I still need to read The Book of Ivy and the Selection series.

  6. I’ve heard of so many of the books on both of your lists, but have only read Shatter Me out of all of those… I really need to find a way to read more!

    My TTT.

  7. Great lists! I have to admit that YOU are the reason I bought the entire Shatter Me series. I am sure it is great, so now I just need to find time to read it…
Illuminae and The Book of Ivy would be on my “push” lists as well.

  8. I haven’t read any of these apart from Shatter Me – that makes me feel so far behind on my TBR! I have a lot of these on there. I definitely plan on getting to Illuminae this year, and I need to read The Selection and The Book of Ivy too. I haven’t heard of See Me before but that looks inter sting. Great picks. I definitely have to get to these at some point.

  9. I haven’t read any of the ones that you don’t talk about enough! However, some of my favourite books rarely feature on my blog either because they don’t fit into any posts that I write or because they are backlist titles which really should push me to talk about them more often.
