Do you have those books that you’ve been eyeing for a while but you are on the fence about whether or not you should read them? Either you are afraid that you won’t like them, or you’ve heard ‘ehhh’ things about them, or for whatever reason you have been hesitant to pick them up?  Well, I have a ton of them.  So I thought that I’d let you all help me decide which ones I should pick up and which ones I should stay away from.

Since I’m always finding new books that I’m always on the fence about, this may become a regular thing.

I’m going to list 3 books and you all can tell me in the comments which ones I should definitely read, stay away from, or maybe give it a try.

Let me know which ones I should read in the comments!

  1. Falling Kingdoms is on my TBR, and I’ve heard pretty good things about it. I read and LOVED The Weight of Feathers, so I definitely think you should give it a shot. It’s beautifully written, and it has magical realism!

  2. The only one I read off this list was Falling Kingdoms. I’ll admit that it’s pretty slow (I read it with some other people and the average rating we gave it was about 3.5 stars). However, we all continued and it is the type of series that gets better and better! We’re actually on book four now! On behalf of all of us, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did :).

I wish that I could help Christy but I haven’t read any of these! Although I have heard good things about The Weight of Feathers!

  4. The only one I’ve read is Falling Kingdoms and I really disliked it. I thought the characters were unlikeable and wooden, the worldbuilding was weak, and the writing was repetitive. BUT. I know lots of people love the series so maybe I am in the minority and maybe the series gets better! I wanted to love it but I just had no interest in continuing afterwards. Good luck with the books, I love this feature! Such a cool idea 🙂
