Anya and the Shy Guy Review ++ Giveaway!

Erica’s Review Anya and the Shy Guy is a book I definitely recommend you pick up. It is a quick, easy read that has you intrigued from the beginning. Anya is a girl who lived on the streets and never really had anything. She starts writing for a company and lands a huge job. She has to find some dirt on one of the band members of Seconds to Juliet. The band member she is set out to interview is Will Fray, the shy guy…or is he? Not really, Will Fray is actually Matt Fray, his twin brother. Will is away in rehab so Matt had to take over for him. Matt tries his hardest to act just like his twin, […]

Survive the Night by Danielle Vega

Survive the Night by Danielle Vega

This genre isn’t one I normally would pick up, but reading the synopsis had me hooked and I just had to have this book. Plus, the cover was gorgeous and that added even more of a need. Horror movies are my go-to. I just love everything horror, but tend to veer away from horror books because I never knew if my mind could handle it. Me loving horror does not mean I handle it very well. I get scared quite easily and I was hoping this book would do that. And…it did. Throughout this book I got so many goose bumps and was freaked out. That is something I loved about Danielle Vega. I knew that she would have […]

Finding Audrey | Surprised Me With Humor

Finding Audrey | Surprised Me With Humor

Finding Audrey isn’t my usual type of book so when it showed up on my doorstep, I was a little nervous to read it.  Audrey is one of the youngest MCs that I think I ever read about so I was afraid that I would have trouble connecting to her.  However, that wasn’t the case at all.  In fact, I actually really enjoyed Audrey as a main character, her voice was fresh and honest and I’m really glad that I got the chance to read her story. When we are introduced to Audrey, she is dealing with debilitating anxiety.  We don’t know right off where the anxiety comes from or what brought on some of the issues that she has, […]

The Stars Never Rise | Has An Extremely Unique Romance

Review I’ve been sitting here staring at this computer screen for what seems like forever, trying to find the right words to say.  I always seem to have the hardest time writing reviews for books that I loved and this is no exception.  I just want to scream “GO READ THIS BOOK” at  anyone and everyone and leave it at that.  But to me, that still wouldn’t be enough and this book deserves all the love.   First, let me just say that I have been a HUGE Rachel Vincent fan since I picked up the first Soul Screamers book (Fun Fact: the first book I ever reviewed on this blog was Before I Wake) and once I discovered the Shifter and Unbound […]

The Girl At Midnight by Melissa Grey

Review When I saw the cover for The Girl at Midnight, I was immediately intrigued and I knew that it was one that I HAD to read.  I was expecting great things from this debut, and while I enjoyed it, it didn’t ‘wow’ me like I was hoping. Echo, who is a pickpocket that has survived by selling the stolen goods that she steals, is living in a library when she is rescued by the Ala.  The Ala belongs to an ancient race of Avicen who take up residence beneath the streets of New York City.  The Avicen are magical race of people with feathers in place of hair.  They have been at war with the Drakhan for centuries.  When […]

ARC Book Review | I Am Her Revenge by Meredith Moore

ARC Book Review | I Am Her Revenge by Meredith Moore

Review I Am Her Revenge was one of my most anticipated April reads, so you can imagine my excitement when I finally got my hands on it.  To say that I was ecstatic is a bit of understatement, I may or may not have been jumping up and down.  I love me a good revenge story and I couldn’t wait to dive into Vivian’s world. Vivian Foster is a bit of a chameleon, she can be anything that she needs to be in order to get what she wants.  Which I admit, sounds kind of awesome.  I would love to be able to change my personality to suit the task at hand.  However, this isn’t something that Vivian learned herself […]
