With a new month comes new book releases! Erica and I thought that we would share our most anticipated October releases.

CHRISTY’S LIST

I can’t believe that it’s almost October! Do you know what that means?!?! HALLOWEEN and ALL THE SCARY THINGS!! YAY!!!!  My son has requested a Halloween themed birthday party which is Saturday, and I may be way more excited than him so there are a ton of Halloween decorations already going up at my house.

Alright, enough rambling.  Here are the October releases that I WANT RIGHT NOW.

ERICA’S LIST

October already? Well…practically. I can just think back to it being my birthday. These past three months have just flown by. But, I love fall and all the leaves falling and just hot cocoa by the fire. So, I’m super excited for these books below. Have any of you read them? Let me know what you think and which one I NEED now. I know I WANT them, but you know…money…so what do I have to run to go get as soon as it’s released.

  1. I’m really excited for A Madness So Discreet too!! Illuminae is definitely worth reading… I love the format, that was my favorite part of it. Also Carry On!! I’m going to a Rainbow signing on October 8th and it can’t get here soon enough! It’s cute you guys want the same books for the most part 🙂

  2. Illuminae was quite an interesting read! I loved the formatting of it and I definitely need to get my hands on a physical copy because I have a feeling my eARC did not fully do it justice.
I am so excited for Rainbow Rowell’s new book!

  3. Both Illuminae and A Thousand Nights are on my list of anticipated October releases. 🙂

I’m not a huge Halloween fan. It’s not something any of my family or friends really celebrated. Perhaps it’s our lack of seasons that make it less fun? I really hope you enjoy it all though!

  4. I have actually read all of these except Carry On. I absolutely LOVED Illuminae, and A Madness So Discreet was really good. A Thousand Nights was okay. Not my favorite, but not like, the worst book ever 😉

So, I am most excited for ummm (looks at shelves) The White Rose! I haven’t read that one yet! We’ll Never Be Apart… umm I seriously have read most of my October books. OH! The Rose Society, I pre ordered that one!
