Hello, everyone! It’s officially one week until Christmas, so today I’m here with another fun, non-bookish Q&A– this time with holiday-themed questions! This Q&A is hosted by The Blended Blog, but I originally saw it over on Grace’s blog.
let’s get festive!
Real or fake tree? Real, always.
Favorite Christmas cookie? My stepdad and I always bake and decorate almond sugar cookies in fun Christmas-y shapes for the holidays! I love anything almond-flavored.
Home on Christmas morning or travel? Home. I mean, I have to travel to get home (my parents’ house), but I like to be there on Christmas morning for sure.
Clear or colored lights? Colored! They feel so much cozier to me.
Send Christmas cards? Yep! I like to send them to all my blogging friends and friends who live further away. Already sent mine out.
Favorite Christmas present received? My parents gave me my first Kindle for Christmas my freshman year of high school!
Favorite Christmas present given? I mean, I always love giving books, but I have to say, I’m really excited to give my mom her present this year (not going to say what it is in case she’s reading this, but I think it’s going to be great).
Stockings or no stockings? Stockings! Obviously.
Christmas PJ’s? Heck yes. I almost always get a cozy pajama set for Christmas, and I love wearing them Christmas morning.
Favorite Christmas carol? To listen to? “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” or “White Christmas.” To sing? “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing” because the soprano descant is a BANGER.
Favorite holiday tradition? My family and I always open our presents from each other on Christmas Eve (we open “Santa” presents Christmas Day).
Early shopper or last minute? Early! I tend to buy Christmas gifts for people throughout the year whenever I see something I think someone might like, and then I do any remaining shopping right after Thanksgiving.
Favorite Christmas movie or show? White Christmas! My family and I watch it every Christmas Eve. The music is fantastic, the dance numbers are epic, and it’s the only time the miscommunication trope works for me.
Favorite holiday beverage? Hmm, this is hard because I drink hot beverages year-round, and I don’t really like any of the flavored holiday coffee drinks. I do notice that I drink more hot chocolate around the holidays!
Cookies and milk for Santa? Yep, and oats outside for the reindeer!
I’d love to know some of your answers to these questions! Leave me a link if you have done/decide to do this Q&A! What’s your favorite holiday tradition?
