make me read it

I did the Make Me Read It Read-a-Thon last year and didn’t do that great of a job so I’m hoping this year I’ll do better. I think I will because it starts on my birthday! I’ll celebrate in the best way possible, reading…of course I’ll have my cake, too! It’ll be the perfect combination. Now, the pressure is on you, my friends. I hope you all pick me some quite lovely books.

If you all want to sign up you can do so here. This read-a-thon is hosted by Val @ The Innocent Smiley and Ely @ Tea & Titles ; you should go check out their lovely blogs.

I am hoping to read 5 books for this read-a-thon so feel free to vote for five books in the poll below. I’ll have plenty of books for you to chose from so choose wisely. I also want to state that even if you haven’t read the book you can still vote on it. If you want to see a review soon of a title that I have, vote. If you like the cover of it, vote. If you like the number three and it’s the third option, vote. Just go for it 🙂

  1. Ooh, good luck! I might have to take a look at this read-a-thon, especially since it’s during the summer and I don’t have school anymore :). I wouldn’t quite recommend Rebel of the Sands; I read it about a month ago and it was so slow for me. Started off well, but took me a long time to finish it so I don’t think it’s particularly suitable for a read-a-thon.

  2. I picked The Girl From Everywhere as one of my votes since I’ve heard it’s really good. Good luck with the reads- lots of good choices there!

  3. There are so many amazing books there! I definitely voted for The Winner’s Curse — it’s absolutely fab and I’ll rave about it for days. I also did The Rose and the Dagger because I’ve been reading some mixed reviews and would love to hear your thoughts. Happy reading and best of luck with the read-a-thon! 🙂

  4. Thank you so much for participating again! I actually didn’t do the best last year, I think I only got through 2 1/2 books hahah. Also, you need to read The Kiss of Deception, and The Night Circus!

  5. What a great list to choose from! The only one I’ve read is The Night Circus, which I absolutely loved, so of course I voted for it. I also voted for ACOTAR (which is on my readathon list) and The Raven Boys, which my daughter loved. Have fun, and I hope you enjoy all the books you end up reading!

  6. Amy

A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES YESSSSS!!! I loved that book so much haha. You have a great selection and I had such a hard time picking! Good luck!
I’m participating as well; if you’d like to vote on my books, the link should be attached. 🙂

  7. ACOTAR! I first read it last year, when all the hype was buzzing and was underwhelmed. BUT then I re-read it this year before I jumped into ACOMAF because I couldn’t remember a single thing that had happened, and loved it sooooooooooo much more the second time. Then ACOMAF was just as good as everyone claimed it would be. Hope you like it too!
