Christy's Novel Rewind

Novel Rewind is the way Erica and I wrap up our week. Though, since there is two of us we’ll be alternating weeks and each of our separate posts will be showcasing the past two weeks.

We will be linking up to Stacking the Shelves and The Sunday Post.

Life & What’s Happened

I have been super busy since my last rewind post!  I’ve been working my nurse job and I’ve been trying to keep up with my Etsy shop and then on top of all of that, I decided to open Redbubble and Society6 shops :O

School is also getting ready to start back in the next couple of weeks so I’ve been trying to get everything together for my son who will be going into 4th grade!

Currently Obsessing Over

one true loves

I actually finished this book a few weeks ago but I haven’t been able to read anything since then, it’s put me in a massive reading slump :/

My husband and I just started watching this show!  I have to admit that I was a little hesitant at first and I almost quit watching because I had a hard time trying to keep up with what was going on, but The Wedding episode changed my mind 😉

  1. I love the Lunar Chronicle books! And Ruthless is one of my favorite thriller books. It kept me up awake at night. I read the Disruption duology last week and it was so good! I hope you like the books!
I’m sorry to hear you are so busy. Hopefully, you’ll get some breathing space soon!
    Take care, Christy!

  2. $10 off your society store?! A store that’s freaking gorgeous?! I’m so in love with it, Christy!
I’ve been meaning to check Tell Me Three Things! I hope you like it. And I love Outlander. But I haven’t gotten past like a few episodes after the wedding. I’ll blame it on Game of Thrones lol

  3. I still need to make my way through The Lunar Chronicles but I loved Cinder. A lot of great books there. I am intrigued by Disruption. I hear you on reading slumps. I am coming out of a long one, so be patient, it will come back!

  4. I have worked as an aide at an elementary school for almost 10 years, and fourth grade is my favorite year! I love the curriculum, but look out for all the homework. Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children is such an amazing book! All of the photos are actual photos the author has collected over the years, and then he built a story around them! I hope you enjoy it.

  5. I know I’m in the minority on this one but I felt like they sexed up Outlander. It doesn’t really have that much sex or that racy of scenes to it. The Mister looked over at me when we were watching it and was all like, “So THIS is why you like Outlander so much, huh?” LoL

Tell Me Three Things was a really good read. I seriously need to read the Lunar Chronicles. I have no excuse not to either, because I own all of them! I’ve also been meaning to check out the Outlander book & TV series. They both sound so awesome!
