Novel Rewind is our version of a weekly wrap up post. We will be linking up to Stacking the Shelves and The Sunday Post. Hey, guys! We’ll be changing up the format of our weekly rewinds a bit starting this week– now that I have an awesome co-blogger, Bee, the two of us will be doing the Novel Rewind together most weeks! Life Updates Madalyn: I don’t have much exciting to report at the moment. I’ve pretty much just spent this week working, going to appointments, and trying to get into a routine for the summer. I did get to hang out with one of my good friends whom I haven’t seen in a while on Monday night, which was […]

ARC August ARC August is a monthly event hosted by Read.Sleep.Repeat! If you have some ARCs holding you back (like we do) then you should definitely take part in this event. It allows you to kick back, read the ARCs you need and you could win some more awesome ARCs…really, it is never ending, but who cares…we love books. We will be sharing our goals for the month of August below. We will also be using this post to keep track of our progress along the way. Erica’s goals physical: digital: Christy’s goals physical: digital: Our Progress We will only be updating our progress when a book is finished or if we want to share which book we started next. This week we are talking about those less known books that we have read and loved! When looking up on Goodreads the books that I’ve read that have less than 2000 ratings, I was shocked! Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine We stopped doing Waiting on Wednesday a while ago, but I felt like since I stopped doing these posts I have missed out new and upcoming books so we decided to bring this back again to help us keep up with books that are coming out. The Way to Game the Walk of Shame Taylor Simmons is screwed. Things were hard enough when her single-minded dedication to her studies earned her the reputation of being an Ice Queen, but after getting drunk at a party and waking up next to bad boy surfer Evan McKinley, the entire school seems intent on tearing Taylor down with mockery and gossip. Desperate to […]
Well, January was a good month and I think it was a great start to the year. Nothing too crazy happened, nothing too bad happened either. It was just a good, mellow start to the year and I am happy with that. We hope you guys had a wonderful start to the year, as well. New on the blog… OTSP Secret Sister… Erica: I haven’t gotten my package from my sister yet, but she bought some last minute items so I’m definitely not complaining. This was the last month and that is so upsetting. It was such a fantastic ride. Crystal, my sister, has been magnificent and I was lucky to have her. Next week on my weekly update I’ll […]
The. Hunger. Games. Hopefully, we have your attention because what we are about to introduce is something really exciting for us. Christy has thought of this awesome idea that allows our blogs to come together…and fight till their death. Okay, not really…but you’ll see what I mean. We want to invite you guys to join us for The Hunger Games: Bookish Edition. Christy was inspired by the map below and thought of this awesome idea. We want to get some blogs together and have them put up books (their tributes) to battle it out in the arena (your blog). Obviously there are 12 districts and one girl and one boy is chosen…but there will be two books chosen for each district. […]

Bookish Resolutions Welcome to Novel Ink’s mini-challenge for the Clean Slate Read-A-Thon! Our mini-challenge is Bookish Resolutions, but in all honesty. They can be any damn resolution you want. If you want to talk about your blogging resolutions go for it, if you want to talk about some life resolutions, cool beans. Mix it up, have fun with it. That’s what it’s all about. There’s no certain number to how many resolutions you have to share. If you have one, that’s awesome, if you have 100, that’s awesome, too! We just want to see what you guys have planned for 2016. Since we are trying to clean our slates of all the 2015 books we didn’t get to, we thought […]
