Where Erica’s been & is she coming back?

Posted May 15, 2017 by Erica / 6 Comments

Where have I been? Honestly, everywhere but here. Here as in blogging in general. My mind has taken me so many places and I just don’t know what I want to do or where I want to go. But, one thing I do know is that I missed the hell out of blogging when I was gone. I was still on Twitter so I was still talking about books & what not, but it wasn’t/isn’t the same. I knew what I was missing and I’m grateful that Madalyn was willing to have my back on the team. Not only did I leave Novel Ink (in a sense), but I also started my own blog. I thought that blogging with Christy […]

I’m Selling My Books!

Posted March 7, 2017 by Erica / 2 Comments

Hey everyone! I’ve made the very hard decision to start selling my books. I really need the money and I just think this is the best decision for myself right now. I wanted to start on the blog to see if it went well and just to sell to you guys, everyone I know. If the books aren’t bought from here then I’ll be moving over to Amazon. Each book will have it’s own price that I’ll mark. I won’t be posting pictures on here because that would just cause for a terribly long post (even though it’ll be one as is), but if you want pictures, just ask, no problem there. Some books I haven’t picked up in ages […]

Netflix and Books: February Check-In

Posted March 4, 2017 by Erica / 2 Comments

Lauren and I (Erica) introduced our Netflix and Books Challenge for 2017  as a way of making progress on books we want to read and TV shows we want to watch. The TBR lists were chosen by matching books up to various TV shows based on characters, plots, etc. You can learn all about the challenge and join in anytime here! Don’t forget, you can also still participate in our Netflix and Books Tag that we debuted in 2016; it’ll give you some points in this challenge too! READING PROGRESS erica’s progress I have gotten nowhere on reading progress, but I’m hoping by the end of next month that I’ll be good to go on that front. I have some books in mind but nothing is […]

ARC Review | A Good Idea: Cristina Moracho

ARC Review | A Good Idea: Cristina Moracho

TRIGGER WARNING: DRUG ABUSE/DRUG USE A Good Idea was a decent book. I enjoyed it from beginning to end but it didn’t blow me away. The beginning was, which is odd for me, better than the end. I got into it really quick and wasn’t wanting to put it down, but after I read for a while…I had to stop. It kind of took a weird pace for me and I was just meh about it. I’m not sure if that was actually the books doing or me just being me at this time of my reading slump, but either way, it took a toll on my enjoyment. Now, the pacing was good in the sense of all books ever (if […]

He Will Be My Ruin: K.A. Tucker || My Re-Read Review

He Will Be My Ruin: K.A. Tucker || My Re-Read Review

I don’t re-read often, but when I was asked to review the new paperback I was all for it. Having re-read this book has made me want to start re-reading more. It allows you to catch some things you didn’t necessarily see before and it allows you to feel some things you didn’t feel before. It’s quite awesome. Now, into the actual review of the book. This book, even the second time around, was just as thrilling and mind-blowing as before. Even though I knew what was going to happen I was still captivated from beginning to end. The first time I read this one I was completely wrong with what was going on or who did what. Now, with […]
