I wrote a post last January about books I wanted to reread in 2018 (which was, in turn, inspired by Lauren’s post), and my rereading this year ended up being so successful that I decided to make a similar list of books I want to reread in 2019! (In case you’re wondering, I got to 4/5 of the books on my 2018 list!) I already have fairly concrete plans for a few of these, and the rest are some I’d love to get to if time and my TBR permit! Let’s get into the rereads I have on deck for next year. potential 2019 rereads (Covers link to Goodreads.) the series: The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare (series) // Okay, […]
Hi, everyone! As I’m sure you all have noticed, the holiday season is upon us. I always try to do some sort of bookish holiday gift guide on the blog, and for this year’s, I decided to recommend books to each Hogwarts House that I feel fit the characteristics of that House. I’ve wanted to do a series of book recommendations based on Hogwarts Houses for a while, and what better time than now, when you can add these to your holiday wishlist? (This was partially inspired by Rachel @ Rec-It Rachel’s holiday gift guide this year, which I’ve been loving.) Here are my recommendations for Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff, in case you missed them! Today, I’m wrapping up my Hogwarts House Gift Guide […]
Waiting on Wednesday was created by Breaking the Spine, and is now hosted by Wishful Endings (as Can’t Wait Wednesday). It’s a feature where we show off one of our most anticipated upcoming book releases. Where we tend to add more books to your never-ending TBR. madalyn’s waiting on… why i’m waiting I’ve followed Mason on Twitter for years, and it’s been such a joy watching their journey to publication. I cannot wait to read their book– y’all know queer YA contemporary is My Brand(TM), and I Wish You All the Best features a nonbinary MC, which is hard to find! And if all of that weren’t enough, it was blurbed by my queen, Becky Albertalli. CAN’T WAIT. Are you […]
