Christy’s Novel Rewind (9)

Posted June 18, 2016 by Christy / 15 Comments

Novel Rewind is the way Erica and I wrap up our week. Though, since there is two of us we’ll be alternating weeks and each of our separate posts will be showcasing the past two weeks. We will be linking up to Stacking the Shelves and The Sunday Post. Life & What’s Happened Not much has been going on in the last week since I posted my last Rewind.  We bought a swimming pool and the kids absolutely love it….OK, OK so do I!  I recently got the urge to Bookstagram again so I went out and bought a ton of props and I’ve had so much fun putting pictures together. Other than that, not much happening.  I’ve been working on some […]

Blog Tour & Giveaway | One True Loves: Taylor Jenkins Reid

My Thoughts Goodness gracious, great balls of fire…this book was ah-mazing. I could not put it down, which is saying something because lately books haven’t been keeping my interest too well. One True Loves is a fantastic read and I will recommend it to everyone until my face turns blue. This is my first book by Taylor Reid Jenkins and I can assure you, it won’t be my last. These past few months I have been dealing with a lot of stuff and most of it is emotional so I tend to stay away from contemporaries, but I could not avoid this one. It was done so eloquently. Jenkins just writes so beautifully that everything comes together so wonderfully. I was afraid […]

Welcome to my stop on the Auto Focus blog tour! I am so happy to be a part of this tour. I won’t be sharing a review today, though. I’ll be doing a collage of what I believe family to be. I hope that you guys will agree with me with some of these things, or all, that would be nice. Stay tuned till the end of the post for a giveaway! Family is…  This is what my family means to me and I hope some of these words I used above are words you associate with your family as well. Before I get into what these words mean and why I use them to describe my family I want to […]

Walk the Edge | Katie McGarry

Walk the Edge | Katie McGarry

Walk the Edge is a book that I was looking forward to ever since I fell in love with Nowhere But Here last year.  It’s no secret that McGarry is among my favorite authors and she will always be an auto buy author for me since I can pretty much guarantee that I love anything she ever writes so I can’t say I was surprised by how much I loved this book.  But, I think with every book I read by McGarry, I fall in love a little more.  Her writing just draws me in, and her characters make me fall in love with them within moments of meeting them.  With every new book I always say that it’s my […]

Novel Rewind is the way Erica and I wrap up our week. Though, since there is two of us we’ll be alternating weeks and each of our separate posts will be showcasing the past two weeks. We will be linking up to Stacking the Shelves and The Sunday Post. Life & What’s Happened It’s been such a long time since I done one of these, like a month and a half :O   But, in my defense life was crazy.  I started a new job in May and I’m loving it so much.  It’s closer to home and it’s not as stressful as my previous job.  I also went on vacation at the end of May/beginning of June to Myrtle Beach, SC and […]
