The One Who Makes My Heart Race by Jaqueline Allsop The One Who Makes My Heart Race is a light-hearted romantic comedy based around the shenanigans of co-workers Shelly, Colin, and Alberto.   It is an observation of office life from the inside while delving into the relationships they share. I enjoy working in an office environment, and while the work is intensive and sometimes tedious it is the people that I come across and interact with that make it such a great experience. When creating this novel I had the pleasure of working with an awesome group of people who were charming, hilarious and charismatic.  It was one of the best roles I have had in my entire career and it […]

Blog Tour & Giveaway | Frayed: Kara Terzis

Welcome to my stop on the Frayed blog tour! I am so happy to be a part of this tour. I won’t be sharing a review today, though. Dear Shannon Lynn,      You were taken from this world at such a young age and it breaks my heart. You should still be here with that amazing smile upon your face…brightening everyone’s day. I love and miss you dearly. Not a day goes by that I do not think of you. You were […]

Novel Ink Designs Is Looking for a Brand Rep

Posted June 27, 2016 by Christy / 3 Comments

Novel Ink Designs is finally taking the plunge and looking for brand reps! I’ve been sitting on this idea for a while because I wasn’t sure if it would work out since my shop is still small and new but I think word of mouth is the best advertisement so I decided to go ahead with search! For those of you who haven’t seen my designs, I thought I would include a few of my newest here 🙂 🌟 What I’m Looking For: – I’m not sure on how many reps I want as of yet, that’ll depend on applications. I’m *thinking* 4-5 with a few INT spots. – As I’ve never done this before, I’m wanting reps for 3 […]

Erica’s Novel Rewind (2)

Posted June 25, 2016 by Erica / 20 Comments

Novel Rewind is the way Christy and I wrap up our week. Though, since there is two of us we’ll be alternating weeks and each of our separate posts will be showcasing the past two weeks. We will be linking up to Stacking the Shelves and The Sunday Post. Life & What’s Happening I have made my way back up to Ohio to visit for awhile. Our landlord down in Georgia found out we had dogs (after a year of living there) and said we couldn’t…hmph. So it was a good excuse for us to come up and visit our dad. We brought the dogs and it is now a huge family reunion. I come up here and realize I have […]

Exit, Pursued By A Bear : E. K. Johnston

Exit, Pursued By A Bear : E. K. Johnston

If there is a friendship book out there that deserves recognition, it’s Exit, Pursued by a Bear.  The things that happen in this book are just horrible and really hard to read about, but it happens in real life and although the things that Hermione goes through are horrible, it was nice to see that she had so much support behind her.  A lot of girls aren’t that lucky. Like I said above, Hermione and her group of friends have such a wonderful relationship and it really is so amazing to see them be there for each other in time of need.  Polly really impressed me, she’s Hermione’s best friend, I really loved how she was there for Hermione through […]
