Forget Me by K.A. Harrington

Forget Me by K.A. Harrington

I’ve been wanting to read this book since it’s release back in 2014 and I honestly don’t know why it has taken me this long to pick it up.  And after finishing it?  I could kick myself for waiting so long.  This book was so, so good. Three months ago Morgan watched her boyfriend, Flynn, get hit by a car, and later die.  As you can imagine, that’s not an easy thing to get over.  When Morgan is trying to find some closure, she discovers someone who looks exactly like Flynn.  But what does this mean? Is Flynn still alive? Did he lie about who he was?  These are just some of the questions that go through Morgan’s mind when she […]

NOVEL TH(INK): My favorite genre!

Posted February 23, 2016 by Erica / 21 Comments

Novel Th(ink) Novel Th(ink) is the new name for our Thinking out Loud (discussion posts). We saw somewhere that someone had Thinking out Loud so we thought, hey, let’s come up with a new name…and Novel Th(ink) came to life. I bet you all can tell why we chose this. It’s basically our name, but let’s you know our minds are at work and we were thinking (or were we)? You’ll never know, we’re pretty good at hiding how our discussion posts come together. Well, anyway, I’m introducing our new name today because I have something I’d like to discuss, my favorite genre. Erica’s Favorite Genre Today we usually do Top Ten Tuesday but it was a topic we chose to not do this week. But, it […]

The Mistake by Elle Kennedy

The Mistake by Elle Kennedy

If you all saw my review for The Deal, then you know it rocked my world.  After finishing it, I was ecstatic to get back into the lives of these amazing hockey players.  I loved Logan in The Deal so I couldn’t wait to see him get his happy ending.  It doesn’t take long to learn that he may never get the happy ending he longs for and the one that he deserves. Logan may put out the happy go lucky playboy attitude, but deep down, he’s hiding some very dark secrets about his life and his future from everyone, including his best friends.  John Logan is very different from the persona that he tries to portray.  Sure, he is […]

The Vincent Brothers | WAS INSANELY GOOD

The Vincent Brothers | WAS INSANELY GOOD

I honestly didn’t think this series could get any better. I mean, I absolutely LOVED Ashton and Beau’s story in The Vincent Boys and I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Sawyer, the good guy, so I was nervous to pick up The Vincent Brothers since I knew it was all about Sawyer.  Boy was I surprised.  I think I loved The Vincent Brothers more than the first one. The Vincent Brothers starts off 6 months after The Vincent Boys, Ashton and Beau are living their own lives together, and Sawyer is left trying to pick up the pieces of his broken heart.  Enter Lana. I actually really loved Lana, I wasn’t sure based on the barely there appearance she […]

Christy’s Novel Rewind (2)

Posted February 13, 2016 by Christy / 25 Comments

Novel Rewind is the way Erica and I wrap up our week. Though, since there is two of us we’ll be alternating weeks and each of our separate posts will be showcasing the past two weeks. We will be linking up to Stacking the Shelves and The Sunday Post. Life & What’s Happened Life has still been hectic these last two weeks.  Work has been insane and hard and I’m to that point of “how much longer can I do this?”  Honestly, I’ve been there for a while.  I’ve talked to Erica about it in the past and I’ve been talking to my family about it.  This job is literally draining me.  I feel like it is slowly killing my soul. I did have an interview […]

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon | Beware: Spoilers

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon | Beware: Spoilers

I normally don’t write a spoiler review, and by normally, I mean EVER.  But, there’s no way for me to express my thoughts on this book without doing so.  So, just in case the title of this post wasn’t clear enough for you. BEWARE: SPOILERS AHEAD.  THEY WILL NOT BE MARKED, CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK. There, now that we got that out of the way, let’s get down to talking about this book. I’m going to do this a little different than my normal reviews to make it easier on myself because I’m so torn on this book.  On one hand I really liked it, and on the other, there were so many inconsistencies that I just can’t seem […]
